Q: My Stats aren’t updating, why aren’t they?
A: Zipper has been having
issues with their backlogging of stats. Just be patient and they will update eventually. Also, make sure you are
playing in Ranked Games and not Unranked Games.
Q: Do Socom: Fireteam Bravo and Socom 3 run on the same servers?
A: Yes, the two game’s servers are identical, which is why you can send messages back and forth across the P2P Network.
Q: I keep getting unnecessary disconnects put onto my stats, why is this?
A: Socom 3
sometimes records wins as disconnects or if you shut off your Playstation 2 in the Lobby of a game it can sometimes record
disconnects. They have already reset this stat once, it is likely they will do it again.
Q: When starting Socom 3 Online, my connection to the server times out and I get
disconnected. How can I stop this?
A:
Try restarting your Playstation 2 and Router and opening the ports mentioned in this thread. If that doesn’t
work, try directly connecting to the internet through the modem to see if it isn’t your router. If the problem
persists, contact your ISP and ask them to open all of your ports that they may have left closed for security reasons.
Q: A Team-Killer/Glitcher is ruining my Online Gaming Experience, I tried voting

Q:
I forgot my password to my verified account, what do I do to retrieve it?
A: You cannot retrieve a lost password, you will have to register a new account. Sorry. Only one account

Is my USB Headset compatible with SOCOM 3?
A: Socom 3 is only compatible
with the Socom USB headset, USB Headset for Playstation 2, and the Logitech USB Headset for Playstation 2. Third party
USB Headsets are not supported. To confirm that your USB Headset is compatible with Socom 3 and is functioning correctly,
try using the USB Headset in the Single Player mode of Socom 3 for voice commands. Be sure that the microphone is not
muted if the USB Headset contains a mute function. If the USB Headset works in the Single Player mode of Socom 3 for
voice commands then it is compatible with Socom 3 and can be used for online voice chat. If your USB Headset does not
work in the Single Player portion of Socom 3 for voice commands than the USB Headset is not functioning correctly or is not
compatible with Socom 3.
Q:
Why can't I create or join games?
A: This may possibly be caused by blocked network ports used for SOCOM 3 by a firewall
on your network router or DSL/Cable modem. SOCOM 3 requires TCP port 10080 and UDP port 50000 in order to connect to
online games. Try connecting your PlayStation®2 directly to your DSL/Cable modem to see if this corrects your connection
issue, if you are able to connect this may indicate that your router may be blocking the traffic. Please contact your
router manufacturer for information on how to open the necessary ports or forward port information to your PlayStation®2.
Q:
Why doesn't voice chat work for me?
A: In order to use the voice
chat feature through the headset in Socom 3, the UDP port range 6000 - 7000 must be open as well as UDP port 10070.
Try connecting your PlayStation®2 directly to your DSL/Cable modem to see if this corrects your connection issue, if you are
able to use voice chat this may indicate that your router may be blocking the traffic. Please contact your router manufacturer
for information on how to open the necessary ports or forward port information to your PlayStation®2.
